While I recently (privately) recanted my previous slamming of Plesk, having been “blown away” by the improvements since I last used it, I still prefer cPanel.

But I think the real issue is that End Users are much more likely to be familiar and comfortable with cPanel than Plesk, at least in the Linux environment (cPanel does not work on Windows servers). Of course, I know that you know that, but some readers might not, as evidenced by the abrupt dumping of cPanel by some Hosting Companies, who then seem surprised by the Pushback from Customers.
